Phishing happens more often every year. Microsoft Outlook has a built-in system to report phishing and junk emails so improvements can be made to block those emails in the future. Not sure if you've been phished? Check out this article, Detecting Phishing.
1. Log in to your BYU-Idaho account and click the Email tab.
2. Open the email you want to report to Microsoft.
3. In the top-right corner of the email you would like to report, there will be several icon. Click the icon to the far right that is three dots.

4. From the drop-down menu that appears, click Mark as phishing or Mark as junk, depending on what type of email you want to report.

5. A pop-up will appear thanking you for reporting the email. Click Report. The email will then be sent to Microsoft.

1. Open the Outlook App.
2. Open the email you want to report to Microsoft.
3. In the top-right corner of the Outlook screen, there will be an icon labeled Report Message. Click the icon.

4. From the drop-down menu that appears, click Phishing or Junk, depending on what type of email you want to report.

5. A pop-up will appear asking if you really want to report the email. Click Report. The email will then be sent to Microsoft.
